My Design Team Reveal for December
"Family & Numbers"

Hello to all my lovely followers.

{Family of 3}

This is what I have made for the new December More Than Words Challenge
Their family of 2 has grown to 3 with the addition of this beautiful little puppy, Tess. They got her as a 6 week old puppy, she was the runt of the litter, and they fell in love with her as soon as they saw her. She is known as our grand fur baby. She is adorable, gorgeous, lots of fun, great company and she is my little walking companion when we puppy sit. A typical puppy she has been and can be naughty, digging holes and escaping from the back yard. She is loved ever so much and fit perfectly into their family. My title is family of 3 and I have used the number 3, 3 times on my page.

This is such a fabulous challenge. The graphics are gorgeous and inspirational.
The ladies certainly come up with awesome challenge ideas and graphics that make you want to get creating.

All the chippy  is gorgeous 2Crafty Chipboard,  Simply inked and tucked in to add another layer.

The font is a favourite of mine and makes adding a title to your page super easy.
Just look at that gorgeous little family.

I made a tag, added numbers with texture paste, inked and stitched around it and added it as another layer to my layout.

A close up of the title and the numbers on the tag

I hope you feel inspired to play along. Remember to share your creation on our blog page.
We accept layouts, canvases and art journal pages.

My December DT Reveal
"photo inspo + Kraft"

 Hello  my Krafty Friends!

 "work of art"

Here is my take on this months challenge.
A clean and simple  page. I wanted the focus to be on that photo.
How cute is my little man...he is now 22 and I still love him as much!
He is quite artistic and a really good drawer.
I was inspired by the colours and my design  by the square/rectangle photos on the wall and the mat.

Kraft Plus December Challenge - photo inspo + Kraft

A close up of the colours, design and layers.
Using some really, really old, but beautiful Basic Grey Paper that has been in my stash since the day I started scrapping.  I had this thing with papers and would buy them and not use them because if I did then I wouldn't have them...how silly of me. So  its time to start using them up.
.

A close up of his Masterpiece.
Using some old Alphas too.

My November DT reveal
"Fun in the Sun"

Hello Friends, thanks for stopping by.

"summer days"

Today I am sharing my Design Team layout for  the beautiful More Than Words Challenges.
This month the challenge word is "Outdoors"
and the creative challenge is to "Show us some woodgrain!"

We love the great outdoors.
A close up of the woodgrain paper which matches the planks on the jetty.
We had such a fun day.. Summertime  always brings us outdoors and to the beach.
Tumby Bay is a very picturesque spot and a walk up the jetty is a must.

Lots of strands and tangles of twine and  string.
I have attached a couple of little  Dusty Attic chipboard anchors and some Dusty Attic  chipboard fishing net.
Little touches of torn washi tape added another layer.

A close up of the Dusty Attic chipboard  title, anchor, frame and seagull.
Each piece is coloured with inks and gelatos.
The post piece on the seagull chippie was embossed with my cuttlebug to add some dimension.

Thanks to Tiff, Tiff  Firth Photography for the gorgeous photo.
The photo is of our beautiful children.
Yes its another old photo, the kids were much younger.
I don't think they would be able to swing them like this anymore.

This is such a great challenge, I hope I have inspired you to play along. I would love to see how you interpret it. Look here to see the incredible Design Team creations.

Thank you so much for stopping by. It make my day to read your kind comments.
 Enjoy your day!

My November Design Team Reveal
"think BIG"

Hello Everyone!

 "play"

This is what I made for the November Kraft+ challenge.
This month we had to "think BIG"
I have added a BIG musical note, treble clef, printed from the computer and coloured with  inks and stamped randomly with a music stamp. I used  foam dots to adhere to create some dimension. Then cut a  photo to pop inside the note.

Kraft Plus November Challenge -"think BIG"

Stash busting with some wonderful music Twiddlybitz chipboard, simply inked black.
Scattered around is some little musical note buttons

"To learn music is to learn a whole new language"
Pinterest is an amazing place to find quotes. I loved this one and thought it was perfect. I do not have a musical bone in my body so really admire  people who do play musical instruments.
I use some old thickers alphas for my title and the chipboard note is again Twiddlybitz which is no longer around.

A close up of the photo I cut to fit inside the Treble Clef.
Sarah played the Saxophone for 3 years.
She had lessons once a week at Cummins school. She played in the Port Lincoln
High School Band. We travelled to Port Lincoln once a week for practice. A big commitment but she loved it. It required lots of practice and lots of puff.
Love the sound of the Saxophone.

We hope you find time and feel inspired to play along and share with us on the Kraft+ Blog to be in with a chance to win a prize from the amazing sponsors.
You can share on our Facebook page too but you must link to the blog for a chance to win.

Happy Birthday

Hello Everyone!

I was asked to make a 50th male  Birthday card. and this is what I came up with.
He likes blue and music.

I found this Twiddlybitz chipboard guitar in my stash, it worked perfectly. I inked it black and using single strands of gold embroidery thread I stitched on the strings.
I  added a clear piece of music notes and stitched it on with  thread.
I made a music envelope to put it in.
I was really happy with how it turned out..

More Than Words Challenges
My October DT Reveal
"beauty, memories, love"

Hello to all my Scrappy friends!

Here is my Design Team reveal for the October More Than Words Challenge.

"beauty, memories, love"

Sarah's wedding dress was layered with fine, delicate and intricate lacework.
The straps were made by sewing a few pieces of the delicate lacework together, thanks to a very clever dressmaker. The dress was gorgeous, as was the bride. The chipboard pieces resemble the very delicate gypsophila, baby's breath, which the girls wore in their hair and had in their bouquets. I have added pieces of the lacework to my background and added a fabric bloom.

The word challenge this month is "Delicate"
and the creative challenge is "Fabric"
"Leather or lace, satin or silk"

A close up of the lace piece, Dusty Attic Chipboard pieces,  Kaisercraft blooms, and rosebuds.

Showing on old Prima fabric bloom and lace.

Look here  to be inspired by the incredibly talented Design Teams creations.
Again this month I have stash busted and created my layout on an old 7 Dots piece of paper given to me by the lovely Lindy Gillespie. I really miss seeing her gorgeous work. The fabric Prima bloom is also very old. The chipboard is all gorgeous Dusty Attic  pieces, which I was lucky enough to win recently.
I hope you find time to join in this month and share with us.

Thank you for stopping by and for taking the time to leave a kind comment.
Each one is read and much appreciated
