Always

{Always}

                    I rarely feature in photos, and there is a reason for that, (I dislike photos of myself).
 I did like this one of Matthew and I together  It was taken by Tiff Firth in July 2009.
My page features many of the fabulous  Twiddleybitz Chipboard pieces. I will leave a link for you to visit the Twiddleybitz Ning,  and check out the  gallery.
Twiddleybitz Products:
Twiddleybitz Leaves Fer004
Twiddleybitz Grunge Alphabet Black GRUN011
Twiddleybitz Nero Wrought Iron Crests NER0012
Twiddleybitz Name Plate Curved NP002
Twiddleybitz  Frames from other  Twiddleybitz products. Don't throw them away,. I have inked these black.
The leaves, I inked them with Versa Colour Chateau Grey, I used a  black Zig pen to outline the edges, and run a stitch marker through the middle of each one.
I loved this little  saying.....I Love You..   Now and     Always       for ever and ever.
Thanks for all  your  lovely comments,  they do brighten my day.
Have a wonderful weekend.

at last

{at last}

I did this layout using the new sketch challenge for October at Stuck Sketches.
A very simple page but I still had fun putting it together and the memories of trying to capture 'that' photo always brings a smile to my face.

at the Chocolatree

 I was in Adelaide recently and shared a lovely meal with my daughter at the Oxford Hotel in North Adelaide. Before going home we stopped by the Chocolatree, a Chocolate and Dessert Cafe, for a Hot Chocolate ( I don't drink coffee).. Yum, it was Delish.
 {at the Chocolatree}

 The 'Chocolatree' sign  caught my eye and I immediately thought I could create a layout using that Twiddleybitz Chipboard Tree I have in my stash.....and here it is..
..

The Twiddleybitz products I used to create this page are;
Twiddley Square Alphas  ALP004
Skeleton Tree (small)  TRE007
Itty Bitty Alphas (black)  ALPHA005B
Bag of Love (Heart)  BAS013

I haven't been scrapping much lately, a combination of reasons, kitchen renos (setting up my new kitchen), Uni holidays and my scrap room is in my daughters bedroom so I don't like to invade her space whilst she is home, school holidays. and these beautiful spring days I tend to get out into my garden, and then there is work. I have good intentions but it just hasn't been happening. A new month, new challenges, and I have my scrap room  back so its time to get scrapping. I made 3 layout over the weekend, I love it when you sit and scrap and it all comes together quickly.
Hope you all had a great weekend.
Thank You,  I really appreciate all the lovely comments you have left for me on my recent posts.

Mini Album 'S'

I had lots of fun creating this  mini album for my daughter
.It is a Twiddleybitz Gate Book(BK016)
The gates were painted with White Distress Crackle Paint.
I added ribbon , tags and jewels on the rings..

Pages 1, 2 & 3
page 1. I covered the pages with Bo Bunny paper.
Page 2. The photos are all printed onto a transparency and placed over the patterned paper.
I have added stamps and rub ons before adhering this photo.
I used sections of a Twiddleybitz Banner (BAN003). I covered them with paper and inked them randomly, then layered them.and adhered to the corner.
The photo on the cover and this page were taken by Amanda Hall.
I used paper doilies to make the corner pockets. Each pocket holds hand made tags.
Page 3. More of the beautiful Bo Bunny paper. I fussy cut the butterfly and adhered with mounting tape.
I made a small envelope and enclosed some quotes. The Twiddleybitz Iron Gate with swirl (GAT008) holds it in place.
I applied a rub on onto the paper then added the photo.

Pages 4, 5 & 6
Page 4. I have used Deja View Rub ons and Kaiserkraft stamps to the tags.
I used Pine Cone versa colour ink to the Twiddleybitz Picket Fence (BAS018)  and added some Kaiserkraft flowers. Family photo taken by Tiff Firth.
Page 5. Using more Rubons and Stamps. I inked the Blue Bird Silhouette (BIR006).
I fussy cut the butterfly  adhered with mounting tape and added a twine trail.
I loved this quote, "You are beautiful. You might not see it....but....I do."  and thought I would place it next to the Twiddleybitz Mirror.
Page 6. I have added a Twiddleybitz Birdcage and a little black bird transparency to this page. Sarah can add a photo or a quote here if she wishes.
I made this envelope from the Bo Bunny paper, added a Rub on, enclosed Inspirational Quotes and used a velcro dot to close it.
Sarah loves quotes and there are so many good ones that I decided to add some more to the back page. I used the Twiddleybitz Paris Lamp Post Fence (GAT010) to hold them in place.

This is a few close ups of the Twiddleybitz piece I have used whilst creating this book.
 Thanks so much for stopping by.
I hope you are all enjoying these beautiful spring days.

October White With 1 "my boy"

It's October, that means a new challenge at White With 1.
 The criteria: white + yellow + stars
{my boy}

It took me awhile to finally decide how I wanted to do this layout. It is completely different to how it started out. I started it early in the month and wasn't overly happy with it so it just sat in my scrap room and each time I walked past  I changed something..... and ta da here it is..
This is  a fabulous challenge click here to see what the CT girls have created, I am sure you will be inspired.. You have until the 31st October to  upload your page.
Thanks for stopping by. Have a great week.
